Just seen this on the Scottish section of BBC News Online. ScotRail offering more and cheaper advance tickets on earlier trains after serious overcrowding on the 1051 service from Inverness to Edinburgh has been reportedly leaving people behind on platforms.
In a similar vein I have wondered why the slower routes between Edinburgh and Glasgow don’t have cheaper tickets than the main route?
