Just on a train from Alloa to Glasgow QS having changed in Stirling from the LNER Highland Chieftain, usually get this train as previously the few minutes earlier train from Aberdeen has been a 3 car 170 or 2 car 158 and absolutely rammed - today a five car HST pulled in to platform 3 while I was on platform 9.

Good to see a five car set out and about.

Passed through Inverness station a few times over the past week and there seems to be noticeably more HSTs about than later last year. Including a 5 coach HST at Platform 3 which looked a snug fit from buffers to end of platform signal!
